The effectiveness of health coaching in physiotherapy

IPTOP are delighted to announce that Francesca Paganoni and her team have been given an IPTOP award. The award was given for the best abstract at our Italian members, the Gruppo di Interesse Specialistico Fisioterapia nell’Anziano e nell’invecchiamento attivo, conference. The conference was held on 25th May in Rome, with a focus on Health Promotion in Physiotherapy.

A panel of judges scrutinised the submitted abstracts and judged that Francesca Paganoni’s submission best fulfilled their criteria, which was judged on PERTINENCE to the theme of the Congress, COHERENCE between the objectives and research methodology, COMPLETENESS of the scientific work, RELEVANCE on the development of Science in Physiotherapy and IMPACT on clinical practice.

The winning abstract, ‘The effectiveness of health coaching in physiotherapy: an updated systematic review’, was submitted by Francesca and her co-authors.
