New member IPTOP Executive Committee

At the IPTOP General Meeting on 29th May, the IPTOP treasurer for the past four years, Bernadette Kroon, stepped down. During her tenure as treasurer, she successfully organised IPTOP’s finances more transparently and clearly. Furthermore, she streamlined the member dues and found ways to reduce the high transfer costs to and from the banking account based in the USA. Consequently, IPTOP now has a healthy and secure financial backbone. We thank Bernadette sincerely for all her efforts and are saddened by her decision to step down.

However, we are also delighted to have found an excellent successor for Bernadette. The newly appointed IPTOP treasurer is Joseph Siu. Joseph is a professor and Chair of Global Health Opportunities in the Physical Therapy programme at the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, USA, and has served as the MCR of the USA for the past four years. We are very pleased to welcome Joseph as the new treasurer and look forward to working with him in the coming years.
