Micro-credentials are short, flexible and accredited learning experiences that empower
professionals to gain industry-relevant skills.
This micro-credential will review the concept of frailty and the multiple methods available to identify it, emphasising understanding the different geriatric dimensions they address and the advantages and disadvantages of every method in different settings. It will also cover Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and the management of common geriatric syndromes to help achieve a more gerontologically and frailty-attuned healthcare workforce.

Clinicians attending this course will gain significant insight into holistic models of postural control, which will enable the implementation of more efficacious balance assessment and rehabilitation approaches in their patient population. Attendees will gain an understanding of the multi-sensory approach to balance rehabilitation and will be introduced to cutting edge interventions that have been developed using this approach.
